Having grown up as an outgoing, highly imaginative, over talkative, opinionated, little fat girl, Kim is no stranger to standing out from the crowd. Born in Springfield, Missouri to two incredibly supportive parents. Kim was raised with the belief that there are no limits to what she could accomplish with hard work, love and a positive attitude. And so far, it’s proven true.
Once she moved to Los Angeles in the summer of 2009 she started attending acting classes at Playhouse West in North Hollywood, where she was asked to join a sketch comedy group called Gibbon’s Tail. Kim was able to learn almost every aspect of the film making process thanks to the group and their small productions. Not to mention she was able to build a decent body of work with some amazing individuals. Once their work started getting out there she was quickly recognized as a commodity to the group and started getting offers from peers to work on more projects outside of the group, which she gladly accepted, without hesitation. In the past 2 years Kim has worked on over 50 sketches, 25 short films and 3 feature films.
Recently, Kim branched off with Virginia Crawford and co-founded Lady Rooster Productions. Currently they are in the process of raising money for their first feature together called "Jilted". Their past few projects together have taken home many awards at festivals including Best Short Film, Best Actress, and Best Cinematography.
